"We had the most incredible stay at Highland! This property is perfectly set up for groups or families traveling together. With five separate houses/cabins, each couple (and their kids) had their own private space to relax and recharge—super comfortable and cozy, yet very clean and well-kept. "Great communication with the owner. Clean linens and furnishings, nice BBQ area and pool, property is a beautiful setting. Comfortable fold out bed with a topper was super nice for my teens. Plenty of room large apt. Good place for shorter stay as it is just fridge and microwave. Seems to be a newer rental and interior improvements have been made and perhaps more in the works, drawback is sensitivity to fragrances, there were a number of plug-ins, but lots of people like that just not my thing....

"The listing states "sleeps up to 4". It also states during the point of sale, "additional guests may be charged" as a general disclaimer. We searched for a place to house the 4 of us. However, after the sale the owner reached out and asked for those staying. I reported 4 of us would be residing (me, my spouse, and 2 kids), I was told that I'd be charged an additional fee for the extra guests AFTER I paid--as he intended the price to be for 2 people. There was no wording indicating that and I...

"We had the best time at this house. The location on the river was so nice, we loved watching the ice flow on the river each day. The house was so clean, beds comfy, and was totally equipped for the holidays. The owners did some holiday decorations which made us feel welcome staying away for the holidays. Would totally recommend. "
