"Room is very small and very tight. Practically no space to move around. Bed sheet was dirty. I had to request room change. Bathroom was decent but again very tight. Breakfast was decent. Blanket cover felt dirty as well. It seems like hotel saves money on laundry. Not sure if I will stay here again. "

"This is a very beautiful historical property. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was on top of making sure the room was clean along with water, tea, and coffee stocked daily. Bicky is amazing at taking care of the room and makes sure everything is perfect when he cleans the room. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again for future visits to Kolkata."

"The location is excellent with fantastic views of the river. One should stay for this reason alone. Having said that, the condition of the hotel needs to be improved. Quite run down in many places.
