The staff was fantastic! From the front desk to the young lady who runs breakfast by herself, everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very nice and we enjoyed the dining room and the bar.

Quiet setting next to a golf course. Attentive staff. The room {#2} was very large as was the bathroom. It was a bit dated but still pleasant. Great golf course.

Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.

We loved our stay here! Great location in the West End next to the "Hop-on-Hop-off" tour bus line. Excellent restaurant. Very comfortable beds, larger than average rooms, excellent shower. I'm so sad that we were only in town for one night. My sister and I did a road trip around Scotland, and this was our last night. It was the BEST hotel we stayed in. The staff was amazing and nice. The hotel was quirky and upscale. The breakfast was delicious (the best we had eaten the whole time we were in Scotland).

We arrived early and I asked the front desk person if they could hold our luggage. To our shock, she checked us in early and we were able to go to our room. The hotel is convenient to the train station, shopping, and there is a theatre across the street. We opted to eat in the hotel restaurant and the food, drink, and service was all exceptional. Beautiful property. Food at the club and at the restaurant was wonderful.

This hotel is different from a traditional hotel. Modern yet not too out there. Lots of young folks around since part of the facility is also a student housing. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Location is great too.
