The drive up through the woods on a narrow gravel road gives a serene impression and then when you come up to the hotel you see a wonderful building located i a large park overlooking the city. It was well suited a my family with small children and I would not hesitate to stay here again should I be coming to Ostrava again"

April 2019 Chateau Hradec nad Moravicí, Czech republic Chateau Hradec nad Moravicí was originally Czech king's castle from 13th century. It is located on a hill over the small town of the same name, near to Opava in north east Silesia region of Czech republic. There were several reconstructions done and the last one was in Neogothical style in 19th century. This part is called the Red castle and in the picture you can see what is now the main entrance to the chateau.
