"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts).
The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns.
The guest rooms are nicely appointed, however they are old and need some maintenance to update them. I saw a couple...

"This was my first trip to Thailand and the Kiree Thara Boutique Resort was the perfect place to land. It is situated in peaceful surroundings, the gardens are calming and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the staff were generous and hospitable. It’s a short ride from the city (easily accessible via the Grab app) and far away enough to experience the tranquility of the hills in Chiang Mai. Great food and service. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Nothing special about this resort, it seems to be mainly for Chinese tourist groups. We were the only two European tourists staying there and it was eerily quiet after breakfast when the Chinese groups had left. Hotel was quite old and run down, not renovated for a while. Staff was friendly but did not speak very good English, we got everything settled anyway and they did their best. Food and the drinks in the hotel restaurant were delicious. Hotel pool was large and we had it completely to...

"It's a lovely property. Quiet and clean. Friendly Staff. There is a small gym and 2 small pools.Around the hotel within 3 mins walk you will have the small day market area that sell local delights. Another 10 minutes walk, an up-scale supermarket called Rimping. To walk to old city square it takes about 35 mins. Alternatively, take Grab. It's easy and very affordable."

"I’ve stayed at this hotel twice. Once in 2015 and now in 2025, and it didn’t change at all! It is such a convenient spot as you can walk out of the hotel and go left or right and have shops/stores/food all at your finger tips. "

"Upon entering this beautiful hotel, you are greeted by all staff. They took care of the bags and met me at the room. They supplied me with two full bags of welcome snacks and drinks. That is not a typo, 2 FULL bags of snacks. It was amazing. Such a great surprise. This was the best hotel I've stayed at in Chiang Mai, and I've been to this city many times. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. You must check out the pool during your stay. The hotel is walking distance to the night bazaar, 7/11, and many other convenient things to check out.
I loved this place and everyone made my vacation much more enjoyable. I'll be back. Awesome job Empress Premier!"
"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was huge, clean and modern. There is a free shuttle that goes to Maya shopping mall. Lots of choices for breakfast. I will stay again. "
"Very convenient and nice . Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and nice . The gym was also good , even open 24/7 and there was a sauna in the locker/ changing room area . Didn’t get to try the pool but it looked nice . Didnt dine at the property since there were so many options nearby. "
