"The hotel was hard to find and the Google Maps route was incorrect. I finally found it using GaiaGPS. Staff were nice and friendly. The room was stuffy, dingy and not too clean. It did have a private bath. Breakfast is included, service was friendly but slow. Our rom looked out on a brick wall with barbed wire on top. It was pretty quiet."

"The staff were really helpful and kind, helping me to arrange things with minimal Spanish. The only challenge was the even with the hot water tap turned up full, the water was still too cold to shower in. My arrival was late at night so the hotel may have run out with other rooms having showers before me."

"Hotel Santa Cruz in Huaraz is the best hotel in town! I booked a mountain view room for 4 nights and was treated to wonderful panoramic views of Huascaran and the rest of the Blancas every morning. Location is convenient, breakfast is rich, and staff are helpful at all times. Special thanks to Willy, Eduardo, Keyla, and Estelle for making my stay very memorable. Highly recommended"
