Charming secluded 2-bedroom cabin with WiFi, AC in peaceful Richland Center
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing peaceful and quiet indoor and outdoor space with beautiful views! Loved the deer and hummingbirds that came to visit! Just what I needed...a serene getaway from the rest of the world with nobody around! Kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed and more. Space was very clean and comfortable!"
"We enjoyed our stay at the Wild River Lodge. The hosts were great. They walked us through the house and were easy to contact if issues arose. Our stay included 3 couples and 11 children (aged 5 to 21). Everyone had something to do. The pool table in the basement was a hit. There were two larger tables on the upper level and one on the lower level for games and eating. The beds were comfortable, and extra linens were easy to find for additional beds. Our stay was in late July, and we had a few 100-degree days. The air conditioner kept up, and all levels of the house were comfortable. As expected, the temperature varies several degrees between the upper and lower levels of the house. The kitchen had lots of small appliances, pots, pans, plates, cups, and utensils. The only thing we often ran out of was kitchen towels, even with frequent laundry. The outside space was beautiful. There was lots of room in the yard for games, and plenty of patio furniture for everyone. We were able to kayak across a portion of the river to a sandbar island. There is a current in the river, so swimming across wouldn't be advised. The water was great. We enjoyed many afternoons sitting in the sand and playing in the river. There are two nearby towns with access to groceries and any essential your left behind. We would love to come back for another family trip soon. When we do, we hope to enjoy the nearby winery. The town of Richland Center also has a drive-in movie theater tha"

The Driftless Escape! Modern, large cabin/57 private acres in WI drift less area
8/10 Good
"Very beautiful setting. It was nice that our dog could run around on the property. The television situation was kind of confusing - Roku kept losing the signal. We would come back again."
"Lodging overnight at the Cozy 1-bedroom Guest House in Lone Rock Wisconsin far exceeded my expectations. The guest house was spacious and very clean with many surprising amenities. There were utensils for grilling if we wanted to do so outdoors. There was seasoning available in the kitchen, a couple of frozen pizzas in the freezer (in an emergency), books, games and a tv for entertainment. It was warmly decorating making us feel like home. We were just two, but it could have easily slept at least 6 people. Hannah communicated with us beforehand and afterwards, warm and friendly messages. We knew that they were right next door, if there was anything needed or in the event of an emergency. I give my strongest recommendations for this guest house, hidden away in Lone Rock Wisconsin. It's a perfect place to stay (so much more private and warmer than a hotel) if you were planning a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's house and studio (Taliesin) or a visit to House on the Rock. 5 stars. (6, if I could give that many)."
Cozy Amish built cabin in the heart of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve State Park.
10/10 Excellent
"Very peaceful area that is well situated for exploring the Kickapoo valley. The cabin is large with plenty of space to house a large family. Host checked in to ensure we got in okay and had what we needed. We would like to come back for a fall visit sometime."
"A beautiful cabin in a beautiful place. Enjoyed the wine tasting and the complementary bottle in the unit. Everything was pristine and the finishes were beautiful. Fully equipped kitchen. Hope to be back"
