"My stay at Vila Alpina was so pleasant, and I would definitely go back. It was only about a 7 minute walk from the lake and 25 minutes to the top of the lake near all the restaurants. Peter (staff) was very friendly and helpful, and even checked me in early. He showed me a map and talked me through activities/reccomendations, and even leant me an umbrella for the rain! I had a lovely stay :) "

Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail in the sitting room lobby — and let me tell you, sipping that drink while taking in the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen felt like a dream. The service here is in a league of its own — truly the highest caliber I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal, warm, and effortless. Our room was absolutely perfect, and I have to give special mention to the water pressure (a small but very important detail for me!) — it was spot on. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from charming shops, delicious restaurants, and local events. But the crown jewel of our stay? The hotel’s private beach. With bar service, attentive personal butlers, and the best possible access to swim in Lake Bled, it was pure bliss. I have never recommended a hotel more highly in my life. Out of all of our global travels and experiences with Small Luxury Hotels, this one stands at the very top of my list.
