Historic Downtown Hudson Home

  • An original 1833 home in the heart of Hudson Historic District. Recent award-winning restoration preserving original features and character, while adding updated amenities. Stroll down to nearby shops and a selection of great independent restaurants, or enjoy cooking in the farmhouse-style dine-in kitchen. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is close by with 100+ miles of trails for hiking, biking and trail running. Kayak the beautiful Cuyahoga River. Short drive to enjoy the world renowned Cleveland Orchestra at their summer home at Blossom Music Center. Easy access to all the sporting events and rich culture of North East Ohio.
    Our Greek Revival home is spacious and full of natural light. A ton of character from the exposed post and beam structure and original woodwork dating back to the early New England settlers. At night it's very cozy with comfy leather furniture in front of a blazing log fire. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare gourmet meals from local farm produce and the Heinens grocery store in walking distance.
    We're an English couple fully immersed in the cultural, culinary and outdoor delights of our region. We're totally ready to provide you all the help you need in planning a spectacular stay at our home.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, historic home in the heart of downtown Hudson, look no further. I’m so happy to have found Wayside. It’s a great property for a small family, or in my case, a few friends to enjoy being able to walk to all the enjoyable activities in this charming town.

Beautiful cozy house for Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. I am from Hudson but my parents have moved to a retirement community, so his was a perfect spot for my family to gather! Great location and a very cozy and comfortable house!
