"Our first stay was a surprise stay, it was the only hotel with available rooms following two back to back hurricanes in 2024 for us to house our crew helping with the relief efforts. At the time, what we could see of the property was pretty much inundated with water as much of the area was. It's a dated hotel with really nice rooms that need some loving TLC. You can clearly see what is was back in its heyday. We said we would go back just so we could see it not under water. And we did, and its as we thought it would be. It's a beautiful facility with lots to see, and tons to do especially during a golf tournament. With pleasant staff. We would go back in a heart beat all it needs is some TLC. Hopefully the new owners will be listening. "

"The hotel itself is very beautiful. The two ladies that helped check us in we're absolutely wonderful. Wished us a great stay, said if we need anything to call down let them know. Totally explained that the property was non-smoking and where I could actually go to have a cigarette."
