"If you are a couple traveling in southern Spain, you really want to spend time here! Especially if you want peace and tranquility. Everything is as beautiful as the photos. The owners live on the property and are very kind people who seemed genuine about wanting the best experience for us. They gave us total privacy unless we wanted to talk to them. The casita and pool are in their lush garden and the trees makes you feel you are all on your own. Our stay was 5 days and we wished we planned a longer stay. "Really nice place working to become top notch. Great great staff. Great food, beautiful pool and facilities. Lovely place for a relaxing country stay. Overall we had a really nice stay. Our only suggestions for improvement are that directions and signage to find the hotel are still lacking. When you are arriving on a bicycle you need more because missing a sign is a big problem. You could easily add a small drawing of a map to the email you send in advance to make this issue go away. Fix the toilette smell in the verde room. But this is a great stay. "

"A foldable bed is fragile and was easily broken. One of us had to put the mattress directly on the floor to sleep for the night. Bad experience."

"Great location. I was walking the camino mozarabe. This hotel is just off the trail, reasonably priced and does a good menu del dia. We choose from the menu for dinner and the dishes were excellent. "

"This was a good stop while we were property hunting. Although the room was smaller than we expected, it was clean and comfortable. I loved the sofa! We hoped the restaurant would be open, but must be more for the busy season. We found old town and the architecture was wonderful, then a good walk up to the fortress. If you do nothing else, go to the fortress. They said to allow an hour and half but we were there for almost 3hrs!"
