"Clean but a bit outdated. The housekeeping staff is incredible!! The Luau was fantastic! The common areas of the property were clean and maintained. Our room was pretty outdated and mediocre. I wish there was a bit more lighting or lighting on the balconies at the least. Another big downer is the lack of coffee. I wish they offered free coffee or a coffee bar similar to most hotels. The coffee in the room is not very great but it is what it is. Overall a good place to stay! The lagoon is very beautiful and fun. It did suck a bit when the surf was high and we couldn’t use it for most of our stay but we can’t tell nature what to do! I’m glad the staff valued safety!"

"I’ve stayed here twice and this hotel is really special! The downtown shopping and restaurant area, is literally right there…you can walk to everything from this hotel. The property itself, is lovely — with lots shops, an ABC store, coffee shop, restaurant, as well as pool, bar and small beach. For me, the best thing is all the beautiful artwork and history surrounding King Kamehameha, his family and heirs. Hawaii has a rich history, and it’s on display at this hotel! The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. I will stay again!"

"Parking was easy and free. The studio condo was the perfect size for the two of us. It was very clean. We appreciated the ice, chest, boogie boards, and bags that were left there for our use. Fantastic walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We would stay here again."

"This condo was in an excellent location. Beautiful walk down to the beach, conveniently next to all we wanted to do. The sleeping arrangements worked well for my family, and we appreciated the access to laundry and a dishwasher. Communication was quick and easy, as were check in and check out instructions. We would love to stay here again."
