"The rooms where beautiful. Upon arrival we got told they had upgraded our room. The room was amazing the staff where all friendly, We had the full english the next morning and this is a must its lovely! Overall fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! "

"This is my 3rd or 4th visit. The room price reasonable and having the restaurant attached means you can dip in and out as you need. The purpose of our visit was to see family and friends. The mattress in room 4 was poor. It ha a big dip in it. When I sat on the bedside, the dip in the bed meant I fell sideways. And similar when lying in bed, I rolled towards the middle.and woke every morning with a lump in my back. I didn't mention it until leaving as we had a busy schedule and changing rooms...

"The rooms are in outbuildings to the main pub. The old brick buildings are clearly worn, with paint chipping, large cracks in the ceiling, large stains on the carpet and generally in need of a refurb. The furniture is in a good state of repair and the bed is super comfortable. No fans available despite it being August and in the mid 20’s. Have stayed in a Marston Inn previously and had an excellent experience, however this one was well off the mark."

"This was an older building, so it had a few areas that didn’t work well. (Room size, the loo, noisy hallway) The staff is excellent, eager to help and quickly answered any questions we had. The food in the pub was very nice and the service was great. "

"Very good property, clean, everything supplied such as tea/coffee, microwave, ironing board, tv. Good sized bathroom, small gripe that the door didn’t close which wouldn’t suit all. Apart from that, excellent. Very clean. Good communication from owners. Easy check-in. Good value for money. Good location, only a few minutes from town centre. Would recommend. "

"Well what a surprise we hadn’t expected much as we paid a very reasonable price. Arrived and was shown up to our room, very friendly service. We stayed in the cappuccino room. The room was lovely, great size & really light and airy. Lots of little touches like kits with things you might need, plenty of shower wash, shampoo etc. tea, coffee & sugar well Stocked as well as little biscuits & bottles of water. Far outweighed what we had expected. Excellent location with access to the marina and the...
