"We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B just outside of Rochefort. The couple who runs it greeted us warmly and made us feel immediately at home. "The one word that accurately sums up this place is "disappointing". The pictures were obviously taken with lighting that hid or obscured the poor condition the walls and parts of the house were in. The shower was so tiny that I had to use it hunched over almost 90 degrees. There were multiple sockets that were closed off with just duct tape, and the kitchen was in serious need of repainting. "Nice, clean cabin but we were extremely dissapointed to learn that the fireplace was FAKE. It’s plastic. This cabin was advertised with a working fireplace and this was our only reason for renting this cabin. This was a huge dissapointment. The heating is with an electric stove which works slowly and dries the air out: we were all having headaches and dry eyes from the air quality."
