"I chose the Quality Inn Toronto Airport based on the reviews and overall rating on Hotels.com, and I was genuinely surprised by how poor the experience was. The hotel is run down, shabby, and clearly not well maintained. The photos online do not reflect the current condition of the property. There is no elevator, and reaching the second floor requires going up and down multiple sets of stairs, which is inconvenient if you have luggage. The building itself feels very dated and in need of significant upkeep. The cleanliness also raised concerns. We found cherry pits on the floor in our room, which makes you question how thoroughly it had been cleaned. The check-in experience was fine but uninspired — the staff member seemed to simply be going through the motions. Fortunately, we were only there for a short overnight stay and spent less than 10 hours in the room. That said, for the price we paid, I would have chosen almost anywhere else had I known the true condition of the hotel."

"We checked in late,around 1am before we head to our room there were 5 people in the hallway some are seating on the floor drinking alcohol,talking out loud.The smell of alcohol reeks! The room was clean but really outdated. The chair had old stains,Vinyl floor sticking out already, The aircon was too loud. The toilet kept on making noise every 15 mins. Door at the adjacent room keeps banging. Someone trying to open our room at 9am. Didn’t sleep much because of too much noise! Disappointed with the stay not worth the price. "

"If IKEA ran hotels this would be it. Totally thought through design. Simple, clean lines, funky. Great unpretentious Italian restaurant in the lobby. Nice not crazy expensive wine list. Great pizza. Not too loud. Better than most big chains in every way. Well done. "
