"Excellent location in Edinburgh and well priced. Walkable to the Royal Mile. Moments to Waverley Train Station and the Tram. It’s central to Old and New town. Tip…to avoid walking up the “close” walk further down Jeffrey and hang a right and your right at the royal mile. To avoid sloped walk from old town to new go through Waverley. Lots of nice shops too."

"The hotel has a slogan that they say YES to everything, and that was true! Everything I asked for, they accommodated me. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful - from reception to concierge to wait staff at the restaurants to housekeeping staff. I loved every minute of my stay. The hotel is beautiful, and conveniently located at the top of the hill on the Royal Mile. Everything you need is within walking distance. The room was immaculate with modern touches. The bedding was super cozy. The rooftop patio had amazing views. The food in the restaurants was gourmet quality and delicious. They do have valet parking, which I highly recommend because otherwise you will be walking a ways to the parking lot. Highly recommended hotel, and I hope to visit again."

"Overall we had a good stay. Had a few off days with housekeeping but was always rectified. Front desk was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good nice selections. Suppers were good. There was definitely 1 server we had the opportunity to have on multiple occasions( Imran). Very pleasant and great service. The pool area was nice we did use it a few times. The hotel as a whole needs some upgrading and safes in the room and a mini fridge!"

"The location was excellent, the food was good, the social aspect was unexpectedly fun. We are older than the typical guests, so my only negative is that we were in bed sooner than most and the elevator ding and doors clunking shut late into the evening took away from general sleep quality. But, if you want good value and superb location and a chance to mingle with travellers from all over the world, this is a good place to start."

"Our room was quiet, clean, and had lovely shampoo, conditioner, bath & body wash, and skin cream in the room. It was convenient to walk to Waverley station, the tram and bus stops, New Town, and Old Town. The staff was so helpful and kind to keep our luggage before check in and following check out. I would stay here again."
