About this property
Eagle's Escape - Mountain top lodge with spectacular views
Eagle’s Escape | Where the Sky Feels Closer
Perched above the rolling woods and endless blue horizons, Eagle’s Escape is not just a cabin. It is a feeling.
From the moment you arrive, the world below starts to fall away. The air is cleaner. The views stretch farther. The quiet wraps around you like a warm blanket. This is the kind of place where mornings begin with coffee on the porch and evenings end under a sky full of stars.
Eagles soar here. You will see them riding the thermals above the treetops, drifting effortlessly across the valley. It is impossible not to slow down when you watch them.
Inside, the home blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Warm wood tones, spacious living areas, and cozy gathering spaces make it perfect for families, friends, and memory-making weekends. The open layout invites everyone together, whether you are cooking, playing games, or settling in by the fire.
The bedrooms are quiet retreats, designed for deep sleep and lazy mornings. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from big family breakfasts to sunset dinners. And every window frames the natural beauty outside, like living artwork.
Outside is where Eagle’s Escape truly shines.
The covered porch and outdoor spaces are made for watching the sky change colors. Morning fog lifting through the trees. Golden sunsets over the hills. Crackling fires under a blanket of stars. This is the kind of place where conversations get longer and phones get forgotten.
Whether you are here for lake days, hiking, boating, or simply breathing again, Eagle’s Escape gives you something rare. Space. Peace. Perspective.
This is not a stop on your journey. It is where you come to feel alive again.
Welcome to Eagle’s Escape.

House was amazing very clean. Awesome views, with great outdoor space for grilling and yard games. Bathrooms and kitchens are great. Would definitely recommend.
traveled from New York with family and friends, a large group and a space for everyone, cozy, phenomenal view, beautiful place, nothing more than to say Thank you, Aunt Susie.
My volleyball team was in town to play in the NCAA tournament at Juniata for the weekend. We decided to try this out instead of the provided hotels and it was exactly what we needed! Plenty of space and a perfect setting to relax and enjoy our time together.
The hosts were very prompt to respond and send someone out when we needed. Highly recommend a stay at Eagle’s Escape!!!
My family was in town for Juniata Family weekend and we ALL stayed here! We had 14 people who ranged in age and had 2 of my sons College friends stay with us on the last night. We had more then enough room to accomidate everyone. We even cooked breakfast every morning and had plenty of cooking uitensils.
Hope this location is avaiable for our return vist next year. Thank you Eagle's Escape !!!
The drive to the property was somewhat difficult. The house was beautiful and very clean but would be nice to have a larger dining table. Some issue with temp regulation.main floor bedroom and bathroom were cold( was fine for us because my husband and I like it that way) when fireplace was on, the set temp at 70 didn’t seem to work well.
Beautiful cabin with a view of Raystown Lake from the very top of the mountain. The property was very accommodating for our large group of adults, children, and doggo. We would return for sure if the opportunity ever arose.
A perfect fit for our group! A beautiful home that provided exactly what we needed! Plenty of space, a beautiful view, we loved it! Wish we could have stayed longer and had more time to enjoy the fire pit and tranquility of its location. Can’t wait to go back next year
Beautiful home with breathtaking views. Very secluded for a real escape. Would recommend for a large group looking to get away.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
It was a very nice place though it’s very out of the way and the road up was rocky. We also don’t understand why we pay for such an expensive place and the high cleaning fees to only have to put on and take off she sheets ourselves, take out all garbage and run dishwasher, it really doesnt make sense if you charge so much for it. The foosball table was also in a bad condition. The pots and pans are very tired and some of the plates were not very clean.
House was perfect for my family. Plenty of backyard to toss a ball with beautiful view of the lake. Loved the size and seating in kitchen When going to lake, avoid traveling Snyders Run Rd. it maybe a little faster but the road down is treacherous.
We brought two boats with us. The road coming in was a little rough but if you go from Hawns Bridge Rd and Trough Creek Valley Rd it is ok. The house was wonderful! Very clean! The fire pit was great! Kitchen had everything you needed. We will definitely stay here again
The home was beautiful! I have 7 siblings with spouses and children and we all fit very comfortably. Host was very accommodating and available, though we did not need much assistance until check out as everything
Beautiful view—probably my favorite feature. Stars were so bright at night. House is set up to make a large group comfortable - big sectional in the living room and two dining tables. Teens enjoyed the foosball table and we all loved the fire pit. Management extremely responsive. It’s about 3 miles on a gravel road up to the house, with the side that leads down to the Giant supermarket a bit rough in spots. We have a very low power car and it was totally fine, but maybe something to be aware of in winter time.
