A Home to Relax and Unwind
The underground spa is the heart of this place, with an indoor lap pool, a hydrotherapy jacuzzi with massage jets and an infrared sauna with Bluetooth. The properties are spread out across three self-contained cottages, each with its own kitchen, living room and wood-burning stove, so the group can gather or find a quiet corner. The Coach House opens into vaulted, beamed living under skylights.

The Layout

• Living spaces: Each cottage has its own lounge, with Duresta velvet sofas, exposed brickwork and wood-burning stoves. The Coach House lounge sits under vaulted, beamed ceilings and skylights.

• Kitchens: Each cottage has a full kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, coffee machine and wine glasses, plus breakfast bars and dining areas. The Coach House kitchen has a central island.

• Gym: Private, fully equipped, with treadmill, cross trainer, free weights and strength machines.

• Outdoor space: Private gardens with patio dining, plus a Big Green Egg BBQ with charcoal and utensils provided.

Location
Hemingford Abbots is a quiet village of yellow-brick cottages and water meadows along the River Great Ouse. There is plenty of walking on the doorstep, from riverside paths to country pubs, with Huntingdon a short drive for shops and the train station. A car makes getting around easiest, as public transport is limited out here.

Good to Know Before You Book
The accommodation is split across three separate cottages around a shared gravel courtyard, so moving between bedrooms, living spaces and the spa means stepping outside. The spa is underground and reached by stairs. One king bedroom sits under the eaves with a low beam, which taller guests will want to note. Children should be supervised at all times around the pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms. Self check-in is by smart lock, with full details and a location pin sent ahead of your stay.

Extra charges
Spa treatments, beauty and massage services, and a private chef can all be arranged at additional cost, with prices varying and subject to availability. Early check-in and late check-out may be available at £15 per hour, up to a maximum of 3 hours, subject to availability. These can be requested after booking through a secure third-party platform. Pets are allowed free of charge, up to a maximum of 3; please include any pets when making your booking.

Booking policy
Guests are required to pay a security deposit of £200 prior to their stay. This is fully refundable pending no damages or excess cleaning being required. This will be a pre-authorisation hold on the card taken at least 24 hours before you check in, and is automatically released within 3 days after check out.

Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
