"First of all the property was amazing. The pub/restaurant was cozy and beautiful. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had issues with our tv and also transportation issues due to train strikes. The staff helped us immediately and made our stay very enjoyable. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing. Thank you !!"

"Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

"All great big clean room nice bathroom all tiled great breakfast nice staff BUT just so cold in the room only had under floor heating got the room to 16c had to watch tv in bed to keep warm could not get the towel in the bathroom to work. It had a button like the ones you turn lights on and then they go off slowly as it had a tiled floor again just so cold when having a shower you need your socks on to walk in just to use the loo but I would go back but only in the summer "

"Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights, on the first night with were arriving at 8.10pm just after the kitchen normally closes. We rang up and nothing was too much trouble, we preordered over the phone and they held off on preparing our meal until we arrived. Food was amazing and we had a lovely few drinks in the pub which has such a warm atmosphere. Our room was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the log burner, and was a great size. A great stay, we would definitely come again! "
