Deerhurst Resort

"Deerhurst was ideal for a multi-family destination as there was so much variety to entertain everyone in our group. Aside from golf, and indoor options, there is an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a very nice beach and swim area suitable for children as it is sandy and not very deep. Kayaks, paddle boards and canoes were always available, and the staff monitoring it all were wonderful. The lake is very nice with a bay and a canal area to explore as well. We were in the Bayshore building which was very close to the waterfront. Units are quite large and easily accommodated 4 people. One of our units had been updated and had much more storage, a decent sized bar fridge and counter space. The other units only had one dresser and a very small drinks fridge. A drawback was the lack of housekeeping service, but extra towels etc were available upon request. What is most needed is someplace to dry wet clothes, so plan for that. Highly recommended is the buffet for dinner. Excellent! We all enjoyed that a lot. There were other great dining options, including the food trucks. Great food at decent prices. So much to do in this area. Love Muskoka and Huntsville!"

"The property was great, didn't need to wait to use the equipment to get out on the water, the beach was really nice and clean, the rooms well maintained. The property is close to town so eating out was easy, the rooms have a small fridge for snacks. We had a really enjoyable time."

"Front desk reception we’re both very nice! Anne and sorry didn’t get the name of the lady upon check out. Awesome, hot breakfast! Love the fact that they are open to your pets for a good price and they’re all on the same floor. We would definitely come back to this hotel if we’re in the area ."
