"Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error."

"This gorgeous little shepherds hut was perfect for a mini get away! It was quiet with stunning surroundings! It was a great size for us and had everything that was needed. "

"Host was so friendly upon arrival and made check in very easy. The property and parking were easy to find. The property itself was very clean and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. The bed was so comfortable and we loved the woodburner and shower. We LOVED LOVED LOVED waking up to the sights and sounds of the animals in the morning and being able to get up close and feed them made the stay extra special. We cannot wait to return!"

"A perfect setting and accommodation for two. The Tap room onsite is a friendly restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere and staff. A short but yummy menu for breakfast and dinner. Privacy around the hut tub and decking area was good and there are plenty of walks around if you want to."

"Our trip to the Shepherds Hut was nothing short of idyllic! Our host Jay was so helpful and kind, even going so far as to give us a lift to Tunbridge Wells when our pre-booked taxi didn't show up. The outdoor kitchen was so easy to use, and made an al fresco breakfast very lovely. We took full advantage of the firepit - logs and kindling provided for us - as well as the lovely walks nearby. I would recommend to anyone looking to get away for a bit of peace and beauty!"

"We stayed for 2 nights in May. Loved the hot tub, nice views of the countryside. The bar and restaurant were convenient with a good choice of beers. The location was good, being walkable to Tenterden passing hops fields on the way but would recommend getting a taxi back in the evening."

"As a group of 5 friends wanting a weekend get together this was a prefect blend of comfort/quirkiness and countryside living. The converted Horsebox is very homely and tasteful as well as comfortable. We also added the hosts new Italian army truck as secondary accommodation so that we had more space to spread ourselves out. "The View Hotel has fantastic seafront rooms which make the most of the view along the promenade from the pier along to the start of the South Downs. The room was clean and comfortable and in the morning the breakfast was very well set out for an efficient start to the day."
