"Property is older and a bit dated, but staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an unfortunate plumbing issue early in the morning of our last day (due to the early morning hour, no maintenance person was available, but the front desk clerk was quick to get us into a different room quickly). Room(s) were clean, bar soap and basic shampoo, conditioner, lotion dispensers and hairdryer available. TVs were a little glitchy (had to manually turn on tv, THEN use the remote to operate. The staff were very courteous and welcoming and the room was quiet and well appointed, with a luxurious bed and linens that made for a very pleasant rest. The Timberlake Motel is also conveniently placed with easy access to the downtown historic district or to some of the other landmark areas of Lynchburg, such as the university or shopping mall....

"Very friendly staff and clean facility. Just gave a 4 for clean because there was a lot of dust in the bathroom near the towel area and other surfaces. It seemed like room was in in use recently and staff forgot the dust the room."
