"Very clean & comfortable unit, loved the individual benches outside units & picnic tables to sit & take & take in amazing Mountain View’s from garden. Easy flat 5 minute walk to beautiful spa pools & Hanmer Springs village. Thank you for the lovely loan beach towels for the Spa. Luckily, we didn’t need, but loved the umbrellas hung outside every unit just in case 😄 Friendly owners took over Motel in October, we wish them well with their new venture."

"Great stay. Genuinely lovely and oh so quiet room (as long as you are ok with open bathrooms). We arrived after midnight and were setting off on a road trip the following morning so it was a perfect solution for us. "

"The whole experience from checking in to leaving was everything and more, great staff and accommodation the room had everything and nothing was not thought of. We were welcomed by Brit who was charming - the room had all we needed and was decorated beautifully - great bed, comfy sofa and arm chair - lovely spa bath and a little outside area to sit in privately. Couldn’t have asked for more. There was even complimentary laundry washing and drying machines. Thank you for a great stay "

"Had a great stay - room was very clean and comfy and a huge bonus was having sky tv (including sports) in the room! Rooms were warm and surprisingly quiet between the rooms, the only noise in the morning with people leaving early eg slamming car doors etc. We were a little apprehensive to stay just given some of the previous reviews but honestly for Hanmer prices we felt like we got really good value - it’s not a brand new modern motel but the price reflects this and so long as people go in knowing they aren’t staying at the Ritz there shouldn’t be any issue. The hosts were very friendly and helpful also. We would definitely stay again. "
