"Brekka is located in an incredible setting with amazing views over the lake and mountains. It’s peaceful and calm. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for self catering holidays. Any questions that I had were quickly answered both before check in and during the stay. There is a supermarket 25 mins away by car which has everything you’d need. Reykjavik was an easy drive if you want a city visit. Highly recommended."

"The property was very nice, I enjoyed the interactive troll themed hiking trails and spring fed hot tubs in the evening. Cabins were clean and cozy, probably the comfiest mattress I slept on durning my trip. Each cabin had a small mini fridge and the shared bathrooms were only a 30 second walk away. Restaurant on site was good as well, friendly staff and delicious food. The waterfall is overlooks was stunning. All in all this was my favorite stay of my trip, I hope to return in the future. "
