Communication with the host was excellent. Using Google maps to find the property proved to be a bit of a challenge. Once the apt was found, we were greeted and taken to our apt. The apt was clean, the beds were comfortable, towels and linens were fresh and clean. Nice and roomy and plenty of space. Very close to the beach and a 15-20 minute walk to the port. We didn't take advantage of the pool but it looked really refreshing.

Clean but lacks communication

Had no communication before check-in. Messaged them and did not hear back. Tried to called but they do not have a WhatsApp so I could not get ahold of them. We were sitting outside with our luggage and I had to contact hotels.com customer service who got ahold of the resident who stays on property to let us in to our room. If I did not have data to use we would have been screwed because we didn’t know where to go. The resident on site was very nice and showed us a clean room. The AC is amazing and the balcony is pretty big. The curtains were sheer and we were woken up by the sun so there is no darkness when the sun is up. I will say if you have bigger luggage, take a taxi from the port because the walk up to the place is so incredibly steep it was miserable.

I will / have refused to pay for these Accomodations This is run by a real estate firm that only responds w 48 hour timeframe for notification WTFrig… Get staff to manage bookings. This place is also far up a hill and miles / many km away from anything. Failure to communicate caused a great deal of stress for my wife and I. We are currently battling w Expedia ( who is very responsive and supportive) to find a reasonable solution. ie 100% credit for failure to respond to a same day booking. Don’t book this location without plenty of time ahead of travel. T Cooper Nanaimo BC Canada
