Room was decent but can be improved with some attention to detail. Staff were courteous and responsive. Included breakfast had a repetitive spread but acceptable. Parking was available. Good location with access to shopping, transport and restaurants.

Not what we expected

Room was not what we saw on hotels.com. room was bit run down and seems like was being renovated and incomplete. Bathroom needed some work and wasn't great. Maybe the room we stayed in was under renovation or something.

It had potential....

If you are looking for a cheap place to crash, I guess it's fine. But there are a few issues I hope management puts more emphasis on, like friendliness and cleanliness. When I checked in my room, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, the soap was pre-used in the toilet, and i felt uncomfortable going in barefooted as it looked dirty. The breakfast hall was full in the morning and I was asked to sit outside the hall until a space opened up, by the time I got in most the food was finished, but the spread was very local so there was little I could eat anyway. Overall, it's an okay stay, the the big bazaar is near by, but I wouldn't go back.

Central location in Hyderabad

TMH is planning further renovation that could further improve lodging arrangements. These include renovating existing stairwell, improvement in reliable water supply during early morning hours, and the buffet breakfast area. TMH is also planning upgrading their restaurant closely attached to the lodging quarters. Adequate FREE WIFI athe hotel. Excellent nearby shopping albeit mostly southAsian ware, consumer items, and jewelry. Hotel provided airport transport arrangements are worth utilizing and reliable. Taxis and other means of transportation are at TMH doorsteps.

Perfect for family outings and stays

Great hotel with a great history. I know it for the last 37 years. Stayed there multiple times. Had been a very regular eater at their restaurant - the best pure-veg restaurant around/in Abids. Perfect place for family get-togethers, stays and parties. Very good lodging for travellers coming with families..... Some may find the menu items a bit costly.... But, worth every rupee you pay. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

As ever, TMH Abids is a perfect hotel for staying or for pure vegetarian food. More so, for family outings and stays. Great heritage... I know this place since 1980. Even before that, my father is a regular visitor to this place. HiIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Good value

Bare bones kind of place, no AC (ceiling fans kept it fairly comft), no toilet paper, the shower was the bathroom itself, etc. But the room, in the older part, was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and hard to complain for the very reasonable price. Hyderabad is a big hot mess, not sure there are any nice areas to stay. Good wifi.
