"I had a wonderful stay at Star Inn Porto and would happily stay here again. The hotel offers excellent value for money, with modern, clean, and comfortable rooms in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It’s conveniently located close to downtown Porto, and Uber rides to most attractions are inexpensive, making it a great base for exploring the city.
The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety of fresh options to start the day.
One feature I especially appreciated was the energy-saving system that activates the room when you insert your key card. Combined with a very efficient air conditioning system, the room cooled down within minutes and stayed comfortable even during warmer days.
The only minor downside was the mattress. It felt firmer than expected during part of my stay, although it’s possible the mattress topper had shifted after housekeeping, making it feel much harder than intended. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it’s the one area that could be improved.
Overall, Star Inn Porto exceeded my expectations. Great staff, excellent location, very good breakfast, clean facilities, and outstanding value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Porto."
