"No travel cot at the hotel despite having a family room. Did request it but got reply until the day we arrived. Door handles, locks etc broken. Double glazing poor. Old Tech still attached to the wall. Cheap hotel so I guess you get what you pay for."

"Perfect for an overnight stay after travelling, spacious room, comfy bed, great shower. Lovely view from the window and quiet room (ask for odd-numbered room on second floor - we were in 213). We also enjoyed the reasonably-priced food in the restaurant where the service was fast. Check in was efficient and friendly and we valued the early breakfast sandwich provided when we couldn't stay for the excellent buffet breakfast we loved when we stayed previously."

"We booked Bjerkvik Hotel purely for its convenient location before an early morning flight from Evenes Airport, but it turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The hotel sits at the end of the fjord, with lovely views across the water to the surrounding mountains. The staff were highly efficient, friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean, comfortable and well presented. A great little hotel and an excellent option for travellers needing easy access to the airport."

"The dining room has great views, food good for both breakfast and dinner, saved having to go out looking for places to eat. 5 mins walk from town centre and ferry terminal. 1 min walk from bus for Evenes airport(50 mins trip). Bedroom good size and good amenities, mine did not have good views but pay more and get the stunning mountains. Great bathroom with the heated floor of course. No fridge."
