"We booked a Deluxe Room with Sea View for ourselves and Deluxe Double with Sea View for our college age kids. Our stay was exceptional. The hotel is in the center of the International section of Tangier and is conveniently located near the ferry. Everything from the check-in to the rooms themselves was first rate. The restaurant was wonderful and the breakfast was outstanding. The rooftop bar in the evening gives you one of the best views of Tangier on the Mediterranean. It was fun to be able to see camels on the beach from our expansive terrace. I would highly recommend the Barcelo if you are visiting Tangier. "

"This is Clearly a new hotel. It’s Beautiful, Clean & Modern. Check in is not until 2pm. However the staff was lovely & gave us great recommendations to visit during our stay. It’s about 30 minutes from the Ferry Port & Old Town, keep this in mind as taxi is more expensive & the blue taxis in the city do not go to the hotel. There is a local Uber app that is convenient & saved us money. "

"This is an older hotel, but still a high end hotel to me. The staff was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was quite large. The room was quiet and the patio and views were excellent. Breakfast was was excellent. The dinner was very good and we really enjoyed the show. I highly recommend this hotel. I recommend transportation to and from the port. Shopping was close by in the Medina and Casbah."

"In the medina- near the edge by the port so easy to find. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast room has lovely views and very reasonably priced."

"The apartment was spacious and clean. I like that there was a washer and dryer. However, the dryer did not work and we couldn’t figure out why the wash cycle was so long. I tried to follow the instructions for the TV but couldn’t figure it out. Also I knew there was no shower but the bathtub was too skinny for me to sit and there was minimal hot water. The ability to communicate with the host was essentially non existent. We had extensive difficulty locating the apartment. Thank goodness our taxi driver from the ferry was so helpful. Getting a taxi was extremely difficult. Food options in area were good to very good. My friend loved the fitness center but wish we knew it was an extra fee. Very disappointed that my friends six year old was not allowed in the pool. One last thing, wish we knew most things were cash only,"

"Fairmont has outdone themselves with the Tazi Palace. The property itself is beautiful, with gardens and and incredible pool and multiple restaurant and lounges. But the staff is what really sets this property apart. What an amazing group of kind, helpful at-your-service staff. We had a memorable stay in a beautifully appointed suite with room to spare! "
