Top Iceland Hotel Reviews

CityHub Reykjavik
10/10 Excellent
"Very positive experience for a non-typical hotel stay. Staff on site were amazing. Room was as advertised - small, unusual, comfy. I would recommend for anyone wanting a bit more space to book a TV suite - they look/feel considerably larger for only small amount of extra $$ (even if you don't want the TV). Communal areas were excellent. Meeting/socializing with other travellers was facilitated thru the communal spaces (hot tub, main room at entrance) and was one of the highlights of our trip. Never an issue accessing shower / toilet / etc - always available when wanted. Overall we would absolutely stay again - wish there were CityHub hotels in more cities."

Hotel Reykjavík Grand
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms are really nice. Didn't care for the open shower in the bathroom. No curtains, no tub, just a shower head. Water would get all over the entire floor, not the best design. The breakfast buffet was ok, cold food and overpriced but Iceland is VERY expensive (but very pretty)."

Miðgarður by Center Hotels
10/10 Excellent
"Greatvplace to stay. The room on the 5th floor have a great view, and had all in-room amenities one would expect. The front desk staff in particular was super friendly and helpful. Due to big tour groups breakfast was a little crowded, but the staft still managed to refill everything expediently. One observation to note is that the hotel, although sounding icelandic, is internationally staffed. So stick to the front desk for questions.."

"Could not cool the room down. No vanity in the bathroom. Staff were great."

Alda Hotel Reykjavik
8/10 Good
"Pleasant hotel although expensive - as is everythingin Reykjavik. Fantastic location, very central, nice staff, very good buffet breakfast. We had an oversized room which was well worth it. Room was stuffy and warm - no forced air circulation. We kept window open which lowered room temperature from 25 to 23 degrees both nights, still on the warm side. Suggest housekeeping open window to air out room between guests. On the plus side, no noise even with window open since looked out on an internal courtyard."

Fosshotel Reykjavik
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh pastries, fruit, hot entrees, and coffee/tea. Something for everyone."

Aurora Hotel at Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport Terminal KEF
10/10 Excellent
"No place for lunch. Airport doesn’t have much either. Dinner and breakfast were great "

Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon
8/10 Good
"Very nice hotel but very expensive. Meals were too expensive but good. About the room, we had three beds in ours for three people which is what we booked and worked out great. Room has black out curtains. When making coffee or tea in the room you will hit your head on the shelf every time you forget there is one just above the coffee maker. Front reception says no one has ever complained, yeh sure."
