This place is magical. Be aware that there is no wifi or cell service, so be prepared to really unwind and tap into nature. We were greeted by helpful and welcoming staff. The adirondack chairs on the deck overlooking the river are the perfect place to unwind when you arrive and perhaps meet some new friends. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, but the wait time to serve it was not, shouldn't wait an hour to receive our order. Breakfast was superb. Steamboat is a gem.

Cute little inn with individual cabins, alongside a river. Perfect porch to overlook the woods and river to unwind after a long day of traveling. Food at the restaurant was tasty. Limited dinner menu, but that is good! If we ever make it back this way again we will stay! Thank you!

Very cute rustic cabins and beautiful view of the river. However, very remote - no cell service, no wi-fi, no television, no refrigerator in the rooms, no ice / ice bucket available and no access to food or drinks on property once restaurant closes. Employee who checked us in was very unpleasant, other staff during our stay were friendly. Restaurant had very limited dinner menu - 5 entrees to chose from - service was terribly slow, over an hour before we received our meals (only 6 guests in the entire restaurant at the time).

Peaceful! Restaurant food is fantastic! The cabins and the inn make you feel relaxed and away from the world. Enjoying the sounds and smells of an awakening Spring on the Umpqua. This place is a cannot miss!

A complete GEM! We stayed in a cabin and it was cute and private and everything we needed. The kitchenette was just a stove top and mini fridge but perfect for a quick lunch pack before we went out on the trails. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and helped us pick wonderful hikes and day trips. We ate dinner one night and it was better than a 5 star restaurant in town. The tenderloin was perfectly prepared and generous portions. There is absolutely no cell service at the lodge or within about a 15-30 minute radius driving. And NO WIFI. It was perfect for us but good to know ahead.

Excellent, rustic hotel with beautiful deck overlooking a beautiful creek. Room very nice size and very comfortable. Workers were awesome and food there was great! We were wishing we had booked it for 2 nights of our trip.

This place is great. Cabins are super cute, but it's the balcony and the view (and the staff) that make this place a must visit. Beware, the restaurant (with yummy food) closes at 8pm. Next time we'll come for more than one night!

Great stay, comfortable run with a deck over the rushing creek. breakfast was good, no fridge but free ice is available for guests. Good location for white water, crater lake, many nearby trails, and hot springs. Staff was very friendly welcoming

Our stay was amazing. I highly recommend this gem for a getaway trip. The cleanliness and maintenance was impressive. Great small touches and we did three hikes the next day to two beautiful waterfalls and a hot springs.
