I had such a wonderful stay at The Little Cabin! I really appreciated how welcoming and attentive Jeff and Barb were. They’re truly Superhosts — they checked in before my arrival and made sure I had all the details I needed for an easy, stress-free check-in. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything I could possibly need. Jeff and Barb even invited me to pick apples from their trees and left a thoughtful welcome gift. The location is peaceful and beautiful, yet still close enough to everything I wanted to explore. There’s plenty of space if you’re traveling with dogs, but it was also perfect for a solo retreat. I felt safe, comfortable, and completely relaxed. I’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing cabin. The Little Cabin was such a peaceful and beautiful place for a restful break. Jeff and Barb were so helpful and provided lots of suggestions for our stay. Definitely would like to visit again.

Fun tiny cabin

The cabin is small but everything we needed. It was clean and cutely decorated. The hosts were always available and helpful but not bothersome. We recommend you try it out, we’ll be back

Perfect cozy cabin

Perfect place for two people and a small stay in such an adorable town! Everything was neat and clean and the owners were available quickly with any text sent. The property is spacious, beautiful, and extremely peaceful. Definitely want to come back to The Little Cabin!!

Same Time Next Year

This was our third stay at the Little Cabin over the first weekend in December. It’s perfect for our needs. Fenced and pet friendly, and all the amenities we need. Located close to town and pleasant walks through the neighborhood and hiking trail. We look forward to next year.

Perfect little cabin

This cabin is easy to find and comfortable. The host was easy communicate with. It was the perfect size for my husband and I, a good value. We especially liked the huge fenced lot that gave our dog plenty of space to explore while we sat on the nice front patio.

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay in the little cabin. It was dog friendly, smelled clean upon arrival, and had all the amenities we needed. The property was fully fenced in, which is great if you bring your furry babies. The front gate did have a small gap underneath, and since we have little dogs that can squeeze through, we had to keep them on a leash.

What a beautiful place

The little cabin was so perfect for our little honeymoon adventure. The views are incredible. The hiking is amazing. Idyllwild will forever be one the coolest places ive visited. Great people on the mountain. It felt like home

This was an incredible find! We had an amazing start to the New Year here and the hosts could not have been more helpful or responsive! A beautiful property at a great price! Highly recommend for a romantic mountain break!

Small Cabin lives up to name

Spent a couple night with my dog. Property Managers 5 stars.Good comunication and very helpful. Cabin one room with kitchen bed and livingroom all together. Nice fenced yard for dog and fee for dog very reasonable. Town not walkable but location private. Cabin well furnished with misc items which a real plus. Would reccomend

The little cozy Cabin on the Mountain

The little cabin is great for a getaway. I just used it for myself to look around the town for a little while, then go back and relax for the rest of the day. If/when I can walk better I would love to go back and go hiking on the trails that are close by.

Delightful

This was our first time at the cabin. Our first impression was that we are thankful that we picked this cabin. It has everything anyone would need for a stay. Just bring your food. Its close to town for convenience if you forget anything. Our dogs enjoyed their freedom on the property. Totally fenced in. Since we got home, we still have said what a wonderful time we had. We hope to go again in the Summer.

Perfect!

Great little gem in the woods. So quiet with lots of windows that brings the outside in! Perfect for 2 adults! And our pups loved roaming the large forested property! Everything you need including great streaming channels and full kitchen. Very close to town (1.5 miles) and restaurants, as well as hiking. Highly recommend this little cabin.

Rest and relaxation achieved

We had the BEST time! After a rather stressful few months at work I wanted to escape to the mountains and this was the perfect place to recharge. Lovely cabin, very clean, plenty of squirrels and birds to look at and listen to on the porch, cozy woodstove for chilly nights, we took walks every day and there’s lots of hiking trails! Walking to town is doable, just note there aren’t sidewalks but it’s a fun outing. Jeff and Barb were fantastic hosts, messaging us with current events in town if we wanted to attend, quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back and we’re going to bring our dog next time!

Great Property

The cabin is charming, and it had everything we needed! Barb was a wonderful communicator and host! The large, fenced property with natural forest was very peaceful. We were lucky to have about four inches of fresh snow and our dog had a great time running around the property and catching snow balls.

This was our second stay at The Little Cabin. Perfect for us as a couple and pet friendly for our two dogs. Safe and intimate location in Fern Valley and close proximity to Idyllwild proper. Great communication with owner. Look forward to next year.

Best Cabin in Idyllwild Yet!

My wife and I have gone up to stay in Idyllwild several times and we both agree this was our favorite cabin. It was so clean and tidy inside that I would have thought it was a new build. We also loved the massive yard with a gate so we could let our dog roam around and locate all the good sunny spots. The cabin is located smack dab in the middle of where I wanted to be. Less than 5 minute drive to Humber park with all the great trails and the same distance to town center. Communication with Barb and Jeff was simple and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had an outstanding weekend.

Quiet, lovely place

The little cabin’s location was quiet and peaceful. Our dogs enjoyed exploring every inch of the property and loved seeing the deer that wandered through. The cabin was small and charming. The bed was warm and comfortable, but a pull-out or regular sized sofa would have been a nice addition. The kitchen was well appointed and the 1/2 pint microwave very cute and efficient.

Cute cabin and town

The property is adorable, and our for babies thoroughly enjoyed it! The cabin was stocked with all the amenities we could have needed, including a bbq and dog bed! Only giving 4 stars because my partner and I are used to our king size avocado mattress, so the bed was just a tiny bit small and uncomfortable for us, but overall enjoyed our time and would be back 👌

My perfect place

It was cozy and comfortable and so welcoming. The special little details like the welcome gift, the coffee and flavorings, and the lighted tree outside, made it magical. Didn’t want to leave and neither did my dog. He was in heaven chasing and sniffing around the huge fenced yard.

Winter wonderland

Perfect little cottage, just what we needed, serene and beautiful. Cottage had everything we needed, very cozy, didn't venture out much, just enjoyed watching the snow melting off the trees, relaxing and take in the wonderful scenery, plenty of snow to play in. Owners were so very nice, great communication and accommodating. Planning to return in the spring. Highly recommend
