Schöne Unterkunft auch für Urlaub mit Kind

Wir waren mit einem 14 Monate alten Kleinkind dort und hatten das Appartement seiner Größe wegen extra ausgesucht. Ein Extrazimmer mit Zustellbett ist schon ganz gut. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man so braucht und war sauber und ordentlich. Auch das Personal hat uns wirklich sehr freundlich empfangen und die Freundlichkeit blieb auch bis zum Schluß. Insbesondere die übergroße Kinderfreundlichkeit hat uns sehr positiv überrascht und soll hier deutlich hervorgehoben werden! Die Einrichtung unserer Wohnung war qualitativ nicht unbedingt top, aber völlig ausreichend. Es gibt drei große Pools, die teilweise miteinander verbunden sind und in denen auch Kinder viel Spaß haben können und hatten. Der der Anlage am nächsten gelegene Strand ist nicht der beste (aber geht auch!), so dass es gut ist, wenn man mobil ist. Insgesamt: Eine empfehlenswerte Anlage wenn man nicht all zuviel Luxus, dafür aber freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal möchte.

Tres belles prestations

Ets très propre avec de très belle chambre. Nous avions une maisonnette vue et accès direct piscine et terrasses vue mer ultra moderne et propre. Les chambres étaient très bien. Le personnel acceuillant et serviable. Parfait nous y retournerons probablement

perfect! we even got an update in our room. but please be aware this is an apart hotel not a hilton hotel which means no room cleaning or room service. it is a great complex of apartments with free wifi free parking and a few miles away from a little town where you find restaurants and markets. the beach next to the hotel is a desert beach.

10 e lode!

Abbiamo soggiornato per due settimane in questa struttura di appartamenti nuovi e veramete ben tenuti. Ogni confort e' presente. Belle le piscine. Ci e' stato fatto un upgrade dell'appartamento e dati con due camere e due bagni ciascuno su due livelli. Sala/cucina grandissima, bellissimo balcone vista mare e abitabile per poterci mangiare. Wifi ok. Parcheggio. Insomma da andarci. Un po' fuor Makry Gialos, ma ne acquista in tranquillita', anche se ovviamente ci vuole l'auto. Cambio biancheria da bagno, letto e ccina ogni 3 giorni. Super soddisfatti e prezzo davvero ottimo (50 € a notte).

Large bungalow for family with 5 or 6 people

We are a french family with 4 children and we have rent a family bungalow close to the swimming pool. The bungalow was very large and comfortable, you can also have dinner on the roof and look at the stars at night drinking a fresh beer. Noise isolation was good. Large parking for the car, nice base camp to visit the eastern part of Creta.

Fulfilling it's promise?

This is well situated and well priced but I found it disappointing. When you arrive you first notice the lack of signs for the Front Desk. It's in a manager's office and we had walked the entire hillside before managing to find it. If you are with children, then these days you'll know the wifi is very important. But the wifi here is poor, often there is no coverage at all unless you are in a room with line of sight to the manager's office, where we were invited to go when all else fails. The suite we booked was the best available yet had no air con in the bedroom. That's a problem in Greece in July. The second bed is a pull-out in the kitchen area. Unfortunately when you pull it out and set it up, it fills the kitchen completely and it's hard to get around it. Overall the rooms are very small, and it just seems like cost-conscious architects skimped on space at this resort, to the detriment of comfort.

Beware of Greeks bearing Wifi

This looks good on the website, BUT...... Firstly we walked round the site for 10 minutes before finding Reception. I needed to work, and needed WIFI. No problem they said. Actually the wifi works in the Manager's Office and almost nowhere else. The rooms are so small, that cost-effectiveness seems to have been their architect. The bed for the 3rd person turned out to be a roll-out in the kitchen. The kitchen is completely filled by it. It's hard to turn around in the bathroom. And there is no air con in the bedroom! This in Crete, in July! Open the window, they said. We had a top-end room. So you can imagine the rest. Deeply disappointing. Sorry.

Great views!

We stayed at Bay View for 5 days in February 2014. It was pretty quiet and the swimming pools were understandably empty. The apartment is brand new, with a large balcony and an adequately equipped kitchen. Our only complaint is that we had no place to eat inside, as the weather was not good enough to eat on the beautiful big balcony. The apartments are quite tiny, but that wouldnot be an issue in the summer months when most of the time is spent outdoors.
