Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park
Great adventure, kids liked it. Room is not perfect, and best for 2-3 people though 4-5 can sleep. We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, 5 stars for them.

UU Inn Fushimi Kyoto
Very basic but acceptable. Good air conditioning and wifi. No TV other than a little iPad type thing. Laundry was cheap and worked well.
