Great value stay. Not the top of the line accomidations, but has an onsen, a good restaurant, and it is next to a Family Mart, train station, and tourist attraction.

Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel
They only reason everything wasn’t rated 5stars was because there was no laundry facility within the hotel for people doing big trips with minimal packing. Other than that, by far the best hotel to stay in this area!!!!

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park
Great adventure, kids liked it. Room is not perfect, and best for 2-3 people though 4-5 can sleep. We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, 5 stars for them.

We were excited to stay at such a beautiful home, but became increasingly disappointed as we found one thing after another missing or broken. The bathroom sink faucet wouldn't run. Neither tub was usable. The sauna light was burned out. The pillows with the futons didn't have pillow cases. The communication ...
