"The location was easy to find and the self-checkin process was clearly communicated and accurate. The rooms were spacious. It was an easy walk from the station and to the castle. "Amazing view from the room of the Akashi Kaikyou bridge and fantastic breakfast buffet with both western and Japanese food. Luxury communal bath was also fantastic and appreciate it being open late with spa quality soap, shampoo, conditioner and a few lotions and cleansers. Peaceful location in mostly residential area but close enough by train to Tarumi, Akashi, Kobe and Himeji which all offer lots of dining and shopping options as well as sightseeing. Room amenities included pajamas, slippers all necessary toiletries, hair dryer, small fridge, electric kettle, cofee, tea, and bottled water. 10 min walk from Maiko station is a little uphill and may be tough in the summer heat with luggage, but short taxi ride is also an option from the station. There is an elevator that will get you up the final hill to the hotel, which may be hard to spot for first time visitors, so be sure to google the entrance elevator to find it."

"Lovely hotel and really Friendly staff, close to the train station and almost on top of the castle and grounds. Rooms were spacious and very clean with all the amenities you could want. Very close the shops, bars, restaurants and sight seeing spots. Well worth considering if your going to Himeji."

"The bath in the room was a surprise and we enjoyed it. It is a hidden gem in the area especially for the price we paid. Definitely we will stay here again. The 2-bed room we stayed was roomy and with a good view. Very satisfied with the view. Only thing the hotel does not offer is breakfast. But it could be easily arrange in the area close by."
