The Izaak Walton Hotel
This ‘hotel’ is still taking booking yet it is closed down and has been these last three months - avoid at all cost - we booked arrived to find it closed ended up at the Fenny Benton Hotel instead - very nice, good food, good hospitality, polite helpful staff

I been using this hotel for a couple of years I paid the price all amenities were included now apparently when you book a room the spa is no longer included they wanted £40 more on top of the £152 I had already paid for the room that used to include the spa with the room booking price . Self Catering Holiday Bungalow in Ilam near Dovedale
The bungalow is a little tired but it was very clean, comfortable and spacious for 6 of us. The beds were very comfortable. The scenery 100% made up for everything. Breathtaking. It has its own garden but not secure so if you have little furry escape artist be aware. Would definitely recommend.
