"Ty Marie is a special house in a fantastic location and Francois is a kind,helpful and thoughtful host who guided us through the arrival process (ferry with trolleys for our luggage from the port) and welcomed us to his family's house on this lovely island. "The Good. -------------- Staff --- Check-in and front-desk staff very helpful. Very pleasant. Room --- A fully self-catering apartment. Very spacious. Two TVs. Full kitchen. Bedroom. --- Very comfortable. Pool --- Great facilities. Parking --- "Real" car parking. Easily fit SUVs, touring, people-carriers, and luggage in/out. (Unlike so many other French hotels with car-parks that only fit..."smurf" cars.) Breakfast --- Lots of options. Air Conditioning. --- Absolutely outstanding. A fully, stand-alone unit. Completely controllable by you. Not "gated" by a central box at reception (like so many other French hotels). If you like "real" air conditioning, and want 16-18 Celsius, this is your hotel. Summary --- I would strongly recommend this hotel. Especially if you have a mid-sized/big car, and/or you like American-quality Air Conditioners. "

"Not a bad word to say, best bed slept in. Breakfast very good. Did have alot of trouble finding hotel because of road works having closed direct access to hotel and sat navigation couldn't find away. Rang hotel told them the problem and one of the staff came and met us and we followed their diversion to hotel. Woud never have found them. Not their fault.That was fantastic of them. I think meny hotels wouldn't have done that. Top marks for the staff."
