"We booked a room on the front of the building and the view is amazing - I would recommend one of these rooms - our whole stay was fantastic, views amazing, rooms lovely, friendly staff, The hotel is a easy walk along the seafront to the town, where there is access to food / restaurants / bars , clothes, hire companies, boats to the other islands etc …."

"Historic manoir with modern wing, refurbished and modernised to a high standard. Excellent room. Shower cubicle a little tight but very good. Superb staff, friendly, helpful, welcoming in all departments. Excellent restaurant and superb breakfast buffet with high quality products. Many additional recreational facilities including pool & spa. excellent location with attractive walks nearby. Will definitely return."

"The hotel and spa are fabulous. The restaurant lets it down. Our meals were served ten minutes apart, and only after we asked where my husband’s meal was. It turned up cold. The staff were unconcerned when we complained."

"Castel Clara is a truly stunning hotel in one of the most beautiful locations we’ve visited. The scenery is incredible, the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing, and it was the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful before and throughout our stay, arranging our shuttle, bike hire and restaurant reservations with ease. The food was excellent too – we enjoyed two fantastic meals and a superb breakfast. Our only minor issue was the lack of air conditioning during a particularly hot spell. However, we completely understand and respect the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, and it certainly didn’t detract from what was a fantastic stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend Castel Clara to anyone looking for a memorable stay on Belle-Île."
