Surrounded by incredible coastal scenery and with plenty of amenities within a mile, this property is a great choice for a memorable group getaway. It sleeps eight guests over four bedrooms and features vast open-plan living spaces spread over three levels, so there’s plenty of room for socialising. Highlights include sea-view balconies and a luxurious bubbling hot tub.
Step into the entrance hall which leads into an open-plan kitchen/dining room, with a breakfast bar and separate utility room. Bi-fold doors from here open onto a balcony, perfect for relaxing with a drink and gazing out to sea. When you fancy settling down for a film night, the spacious lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating surrounding a TV. Or if you want to escape with a good book, then a light-filled conservatory sits adjacent, with full-width bi-fold doors opening onto an enclosed decked terrace with seating. Also on this level is a family shower room. All four bedrooms and a family bathroom are located on the first floor, two of which boast balconies overlooking the sea. And the luxury continues outside where a decked terrace features a private hot tub, and gated steps lead down to a large, enclosed lawn.
From the house, it’s only a 0.5-mile stroll to the shops, pubs, and restaurants of Ilfracombe. Admire Damien Hirst's 'Verity' sculpture on the quay or take a wander to the beautiful Tunnels Beaches. For a longer hike, join the South West Coast Path and climb to the top of the Ilfracombe Torrs (2 miles) where you will be rewarded by sweeping views across the Bristol Channel. Or if you fancy a day on the water, take a boat trip from the harbour to Lundy Island, famous for its colony of puffins who nest there during the summer.
