Make your way into the building then up to your penthouse apartment via the stairs or the lift. Let yourselves in, shuffling off your beach shoes or walking boots in the hall, and amble on through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its astounding sea views. Open the glass doors in here on summer days to bring in a sea breeze. Find a good film on the Smart TV and gather everyone together for a movie night. Prepare the freshly landed seafood you have bought in town in the chic kitchen, then make fresh coffee in the machine or pull a chilled bottle from the wine fridge. There is a handy breakfast bar for snacks and a table for holiday meals. As the day draws to a close, wander off to one of the bedrooms. These include three king-size, one with an en-suite shower room and another with beds that can also be set up as a twin by prior request. There is also a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. Make the most of your glorious balcony. Dine out here on occasion and sip a cocktail as the sun sets on the horizon.
Choose between Ilfracombe’s many beaches, including the famous Tunnels Beaches that are accessed through the cliffs. Follow a section of the South West Coast Path out from the town and book sea cruises from the harbour.
