We stopped with the Olive Branch for a night on our way to Lundy. Jo was so helpful and welcoming - her Breakfast was one of the best I have had in such an establishment. Facilities were great and for a perfect little stop you could not ask for better.

Very friendly. I was assisted up the stairs with a suitcase. One problem was that I couldn't drop the suitcase at the front door of the hotel as there was no entry signs at each end of the road so I had to trundle my case from the car park. I may have booked a nearer car park had I known.

Booked for a couple of nights as a base for an excursion. Location is close to car parks and the beach/harbour. I selected the twin room as I was traveling with my friend - 2 single beds with complementary drinks in the room and an en suite wet room. We're greeted by staff, who seems to do it all on her own (impressive!). Room was clean and quiet, included WiFi and breakfast. Breakfast was wonderful, offering small selection of pastries and yogurts and offering a variety of cooked breakfast options. Perfect stay for what was needed and incredibly well priced (especially for peak season). Very accommodating to me asking if I could leave my luggage there for an hour after checkout so I didn't have to walk up the hill with it! Awesome, will happily stay again

Lovely place close to the harbour with plenty of pubs and restaurants within very easy reach. The host was very helpful and let us check in early just when we went to enquire about the parking. Great views over the sea from the room. Breakfast very good. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Ilfracombe.

Excellent little find!

The Olive Branch is a little gem of a place to stay in Ilfracombe. Its based in the historic part of the town in Fore street so close to the harbour. The bar and restaurant has the ambiance of a wine bar. The beds are super comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hidden gem.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Lovely building. Great bar lounge and food set up. Breakfast fantastic. I had researched the sharing platters served at night. Music in bar lounge was lovely. Owners fantastic. Clearly know what they are doing.
