Beautiful church in Portuguese colonial style. It was inaugurated in 1806 and later reformed in the 20th century. It keeps inside a beautiful panel dedicated to Nossa Senhora D'Ajuda. On its exterior stand out for the statue of Christ crucified at the base of the staircase.

We enjoyed this place so much we had to be back after one week! Minor power interruption due to weather, this forced us to change dinner plans elsewhere and dine in the hotels restaurant. What a wonderful thing! So glad we now know they also have great food right there, no need to drive.
