"The property was beautiful, furnished tastefully with antiques throughout. Our host was so kind and warm, and provided all of the comforts of home. The beds were comfortable! Unheard of! There is no freezer, but we made do w a bag of ice in the crisper that we drained daily. The rear patio garden is lovely and gets amazing sunlight most of the day. There is a working wood burning fireplace, but the weather was gorgeous all week so we didn’t need it. Next door is a fantastic Italian restaurant with the most wonderful hostess. We became practically best pals. It’s wonderful to be so near the sea, as well. The area is quiet and a great respite from the crowds of Barcelona, yet so near the train station, and lots of nice places to shop or sit with a glass of wine. My only suggestion is a bedside table w lamp in the rear bedroom. Otherwise, our stay was ideal!"

"Property is a little dated could use some updates. It was initially very hard to communicate with the owner. Once we managed with the help of VRBO, we found out they use what’s app and a different payment system which is not indicated in the listing. The property owner was responsive but the property manager was not good at replying.Apartment location was good and very convenient to get into Barcelona."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. It had everything you could need and the location was perfect. The train was a 5 minute walk as well as the beach. The neighborhood was so friendly and fun. So many restaurants and everything was very close. Ellen was a perfect host and we were very sad to leave. This place is really a gem in the most beautiful community. Will be back!!! "

"We had a great time in this well appointed apartment. The views from the deck are stunning. It's only a short 15 min drive to the beach in Villassar de Mar, with many great restaurants. Great hosts, very accommodating!"

"We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived at the property. Yolanda had provided clear instructions on how to find the place and she was there to greet us and show us around. The property was clean, comfortable and the views are wonderful. Travelling into Barcelona was easy via train, and we were very grateful to come back to our peaceful accommodation after a day in the city. We also travelled to Montserrat which we really enjoyed. A long weekend just wasn't enough so we are hoping to visit again with our children, as the property is also great for families, including toys and games and of course the pool (chilly but refreshing!).I would definitely recommend hiring a car if you stay here as it would have been difficult to get around without it. "
