"We could not have been more pleased. We enjoyed the place and Mousehole so much. The rooms are decorated so beautifully and the touch of modernity in the lighting and appliances was fun. The hospitality wine and welcome card was unexpected but much appreciated. Cornwall area is amazing and the shores are amazing to explore."

"A great flat that has been thoughtfully and generously equipped. It’s really helpful in St Ives to have a garage. We were tempted to spend hours gazing out of the bedroom or living room windows at the spectacular view of the beach and sea. After a while you become completely tuned to the state of the tide and the height of the waves. The Alverton

10/10 Excellent

"We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk. The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary. The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but they were always polite. We ate dinner the first night of our stay which was delicious and at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good too. I would recommend this hotel to my friends."
