Perfect bed and breakfast

The Shepherds hut was just perfect for a relaxing stay, lots of little thoughtful touches such as home made bread, jam and granola. Very peaceful setting, beautiful garden, welcoming hosts. We loved our stay.

We really liked the stay at the shepherd's hut. The hosts were very welcoming and the cottage was clean and lovely. Loved the private sauna experience as well. Would recommend!

Amazing stay

What a find. I have never stayed anywhere that was so peaceful. The room was amazing. Everything spotless. Martyn and Marina were brilliant hosts and cooked us a wonderful evening meal and breakfast. I think we have at last found our stop off point when driving to Cornwall!

Lovely Corner house

The stay was amazing, the place is so idilic and quiet. The hosts were fantastic and couldn't do enough. This is one of the nicest places I've stopped in and I definitely will be returning. If you get chance stop in the Shepards hut what an experience. Thankyou.

Lovely house in a peaceful setting. Martyn & Marina were super hosts offering tea and cake on arrival which we were able to have in their beautiful garden. We also opted to stay at Corner House for the evening to eat - Marina made us a lovely three course meal. Breakfast was also fab - we left feeling very spoilt (& rather full!)

Martyn and Marina were friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome during our stay in their beautiful thatched cottage in the lovely Somerset countryside. The bedroom was very pretty with an extremely comfortable bed, and tea and coffee facilities with complementary biscuits. It was exceptionally clean, and everything freshly sanitised. Breakfast was great, with homemade granola, jams and marmalade, and a delicious full English. Our gluten free requirements posed no issue and were well catered for. We highly recommend staying at Corner Cottage. Many thanks to Martyn and Marina.

This was by far the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. We enjoyed tea and home made cake on arrival and elderflower cordial in their delightful garden. There was a wonderful Choice on the breakfast menu. Martin and Marina were great hosts and we will certainly go there again. A superb B&B stay.

Martyn and Marina were great hosts, very attentive and friendly. The room was lovely and fresh with tea & coffee facilities, a bottle of water and lovely Italian soaps. Breakfast was a feast with home-made bread, jams and whisky marmelade. The icing on the cake was the meal we had on the evening we stayed - delicious with home-grown vegetables and very tasty. Would recommend this place to anyone travelling in the area. Sadly we were on business so could not explore as much as we would have liked but hope to return to do so in the near future!

Corner House really was excellent and I could not have had a nicer or more comfortable stay. Warmly welcoming, thoroughly clean and a superb breakfast with lovely bread, good coffee and delicious home made jam. Absolutely lovely place to stay, and thoroughly recommended.
