"This place is amazing. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. The whole experience was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"At restaurants and bar have to be careful because the menu one price and when you pay the bill … complete different price…??? and I ask why the price is different and the answer was the price go up …..? really when you choose some drinks and food you look at the price on the menu. Finally you get charged double example. One beer120 and on the bill was 230 Philippine money pesos ..?? all the drinks and food double price and surprise come after when you check out to the hotel when you have to pay the bill ..? you find out you have more drinks you can drink in one night put extra drinks on the bill and the bill was different than I signed on the restaurant ..? And I don’t have time to fight with this guys at check out to the hotel ..? if I don’t pay, I can check out to the hotel and I have my flight in two hours and I have to leave. My opinion use different restaurants around the hotel much better food and more cheaper."

"Breakfast was very good — you order from the menu, choosing from a selection of Filipino rice‑based dishes or English options such as eggs or omelettes. You can then additionally take items from the continental buffet. Fruit was served on a plate, but it was only four small pieces rather than unlimited. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside for us was the beach. We chose this hotel because it advertised “direct access to the beach”, but in reality it was a rocky shoreline with very shallow water — only about 70 cm deep — where you could immerse yourself but not actually swim."

Glamping at Karuna El Nido

"The glasshouse has a very unique design and impressive interior decor. All staffs were very friendly.The only minor downside is the AC wasn't strong enough for the room.The curtains had to be put down during the day to help minimize the heat from the sun but this also covered the majestic ocean view from the room.It was also Unfortunate that my allergies were triggered by the stray cats,however the staffs were nice enough to do something to get rid of the cats while we were dining. Overall it was a great expreience and will definitely recommend glamping at Karuna to family and friends!"

El Nido Beach Hotel

"Not sure about the other reviews. Our stay was excellent. Room was clean, breakfast was good (though don't sit at the back, it gets hot!), and their laundry service was fast. It's right on the backpacker part of El Nido. Tons of beachfront bars and restaurants, right near the night market. There will be some noise, even on the beach side. And I'd temper your expectations to a nicer hotel on a hosteling street. But, price to value is right on the mark, and definitely a destination I'd visit again if we're staying in that part of the world."

"Charlie’s El Nido was an absolute gem. It’s not on the water but it is only a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach and very close to the airport. The pool was crisp, the facility was well maintained and the rooms were great. We did have a suite but still, what we had was quite nice. Especially compared to some other properties around the area. My extended Filipino family also loved their breakfast stating it was very good. They offered a variety of Filipino classics along with pancakes and eggs for a more westernized (American) breakfast. We will definitely consider Charlie’s again for a return visit."
