"Had all the basics that were needed. Check in was quick and easy. Parking was extremely tight and quite difficult. Our room was clean, tidy, and had all the basics amenities. The bed felt a bit springy for us but alright if you are staying for just a quick night. We had a hard time with the AC, it just turned off from 2 AM to 5AM and the room became very hot so it was hard to fall back asleep. "We have upgraded to the Level each time we have stayed at the Melia. While the facility was very nice the amenities were lacking. Very little food options other than salty snacks. All of the other Melia’s Level have offered much more from a food perspective. While the room upgrade was very nice the overall experience was lacking due to the Level amenities."

"Clean, well laid out room, comfortable bed, safe at eye level, enough hangers, everything easily accessed, air conditioning could be controlled at various levels to suit personal preference. Lighting the best I’ve come across in an hotel room, especially the bathroom, with plenty of space for toiletries etc. Good, easy to use, shower, lots of space with handrail. Hotels never have enough towel rails, especially for hanging up a wet towel, but at least there were a couple of hooks for the bath...

"I don’t have any complaints. Room was clean, spacious, A/C worked fantastic. I did a few items laundered and it was an insane price tag of over 130€ for less than a load of laundry. I would stay there again, unless I wanted to be more central to the old town."

"We stayed for one night, coming off a late afternoon flight. It was a a great chain hotel - good value for the price point but quite generic (which is reasonable given the brand and the price). There are some lovely places to eat and it's was interesting to walk around in the newer part of Bilbao but is a bit of a walk to get to the older areas where one would probably wish to spend a bit more time. The staff were friendly and helpful."
