"Property was easy to get to and there is lots of conveniences nearby. Overall it was very clean except the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, which wasn’t a huge deal. The only downfall was the amount of noise from upstairs. We could hear people yelling and each step sounded like elephants walking around."

"The worst place that I have ever booked. Nothing like the pictures. Not even complete space for 3 people to sleep and they are booking it for 4 people. Can't even stand straight in the building. No host and had to figure out most stuff on my own. Left the place immigrated and booked another location. The place even had weird smell to it."

"I cannot express how absolutely gorgeous the property is! My three young adult kids actually gasped when we turned into the driveway and saw the view. Very comfortable home, clean and accommodating and Phil was a great host! The area is quiet and remote but close enough to sites like Peggy's Cover for a day trip. Highly recommend this property!! The only thing we had some confusion over was the laundry situation. Listing states a washer and dryer so we just assumed we could do our own load...

"We enjoyed our stay close to local beaches, kayak/paddle board rentals and in between Halifax and Mahone Bay. The owner was very attentive and thoughtful of our needs. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the owner brought family videos and yummy coffee for us. "The home was clean and well maintained. There are great views of the northwest arm and entrance to Halifax harbor from most of the rooms, including pool and hot tub. The interior decorating is cool including many wood features. Dan the property manager was responsive and provided good instructions on using the smart home features. "Came for a week to revisit Halifax and area, but stay in a quiet area. It was great, caught Fleet Week, saw Peggy's cove, Lunenberg, all the stuff in Halifax, narrowly missed the incoming storm....Good Luck folks. Spent a lot of time talking with Nova Scotians who are great people, always had the feeling they'd give you the shirt off their backs."

"Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by."

"The owner Chris was very proactive and highly responsive, always willing to assist. He even showed us areas to do groceries at a good rate. The location is very good for a good family vacation. "We had a wonderful few days on the lake. 2 of us went back into the city each day to work, the other 2 worked from the cabin. In the evenings we relaxed in the hot tub, playing board games in the cabin, or relaxing on the dock. It is a wonderful cabin and we hope to be able to go back again. I highly recommend trying this place out."
