Wonderful

We had a very enjoyable stay, our guide was excellent, helped by the fact that he grew up locally. We thought that property maintenance had probably lapsed due covid and some cosmetic improvements were due, which we noticed had started. A menu of tours would be beneficial to allow a more informed choice, meal choice mostly came down to chicken or fish but no details of how the dishes were prepared. We thought the bar charges were mostly high as compared to most of Peru, $12 for a small glass of (cheap) wine as example.
We chose ceiba tops because we wanted the highest quality we could afford for our trip into the Amazon and it was worth every sol! Every aspect was thought out, and the lodgings, while not 5star if you’re in the city, were absolutely awesome for a pool dip and some luxury after hiking through the jungle. Staff, from drivers to bartenders were professional and made for a very smooth trip.
Our guide Ari was particularly great, super knowledgeable about plants, birds and indigenous culture, personable, and great relaxed thoughtful conversationalist. He took time to find out what our priorities were and took us on several once in a lifetime experiences. He was a great ambassador for the local people and resource for bird spotting too. So glad we did this trip, highly recommended!
The hotel is great in Amazon. This is all-inclusive. The tourist guide is nice and professional. The trip is very relaxed. I enjoy fishing mermaids, and it's interesting. I highly recommend this hotel.
