Absolutely beautiful large point LEVEL lot on Lake Bowen, mountain views, 180 degree plus view of lake. This is one of the most prized full use lots on on Lake Bowen! Private lot, breathtaking views! Large dock with ladder! Cottage is upstairs with a full garage below. 2 Bedrooms, 1 large master room with KING bed & TV, Kid's cubby room is small and has 1 twin bed, sofa is a sleeper as well. Roll-away cot available as required. Full service kitchen. 1 full bath upstairs and 1 full bath in garage. Washer dryer in garage. Covered patio with fans. Spectrum internet, smart TVs. Bikes, floats, corn hole, grill & outside furniture for your enjoyment! Swimming, boating, jet skis, fishing, kayaking is allowed!! Futon in garage with a 2nd refrigerator. Great location between Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC - in northern Spartanburg county (Boiling Springs/Inman), quick access to I-26 and Hwy 9. 20 minutes to WORLD FAMOUS Tryon International Equestrian Center!!.

BE CAUTIOUS of other lots for rent - not on waterfront. We are only 12 miles to downtown Spartanburg, SC.

PETS: We do consider house trained, non-shedding dogs under 35lbs (max 2 dogs). For other pet inquiries, check with owner/property manager via email inquiry. Pet fee is $100. Please select and inform that you wish to bring pet! Linens (sheets, towels) are provided along with beach towels. The Cleaning fee is $85. We have no-additional fees. VRBO applies service fee and state taxes. Courtesy starter kit provided - toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, 4 trash bags, dish cloth and towels. Quiet retreat

This was our second stay here. Visiting friends who live in Inman. Very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views of Lake Bowen. Cute cottage with everything we needed. Loved the nautical decor. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Christmas getaway

Joy's home was amazing! Beautiful view of the lake, incredibly comfortable environment. This was the perfect "getaway" for us as we were in town visiting family for Christmas. Great location to just relax and unwind after hours of Christmas hustle and bustle.

Great lake spot

Very nice lake house. We have stayed several times and keep returning as we enjoy the house, private safe area, and access to a boat dock. We enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking and it provides easy access into the lake. We would recommend highly.

Get away and house hunting trip

The VIEW of the lake from all windows is amazing, the home is beautiful and very well kept. If you want to have a relaxing, stress free get away with just minutes to the Greenville/Spartanburg area, this is your place to be! We had a wonderful time and will definitely rent again!

The Perfect Getaway

My husband and I had a great time at this little slice of heaven. It had everything you need already there, and the bed was comfortable. Having access to your own personal dock is the best part of this place. We would absolutely come back and stay here.

Excellent host. Joy was amazing so was her brother Keith. they had everything we needed. The property was stunning. Wildlife galore. We even got to see a bald eagle. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

The property of this home is just incredible. The house itself is wonderfully maintained as well, but we spent most of our day outside. There is a ton of space, the water and dock are great, and it was the perfect weekend get away. Joy had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday weekend, and we certainly would love to go again in the future! I would highly recommend this home for a small family weekend at the lake!

Our Celebration of Peace

Graduation Dream House

We selected the property on Homeaway to enjoy a scenic stay for our son's graduation from USC Upstate. The beach house was wonderful and coudn't have been more relaxing. The location was perfect for trips to the university and Spartanburg. We spent nights grilling and days watching the kids play in the lake. Joy was great to work with! The only regret is we didn't book a longer stay. Thanks, The Loves Glenwood, Md.

Beautiful view and great neighbors

My son and 3 grandchildren along with me stayed the week of New Years. The neighbor next door shot off fireworks down the street with friends but made sure he saved a big 6 shot for my grandkids. They were ecstatic. They also enjoyed the large yard where they tossed the football and ran with their dog, Peat. The kitchen had everything we needed and I loved the cubby hole bedroom. Would stay there again next time were are in the area.

Lake house

The house was not clean. We found a moldy baby bottle under the master bed the bath towels were all stained. We ended up dusting and cleaning the house. On a positive note the views are beautiful and so was the neighborhood.

Great place on the lake!

The lake was perfect. Great for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. We really loved diving off the dock into the nice warm water. It was a perfect way to spend some quality time with our preteen boys. There was also shore access for our 3 year old so she could walk in and float around. Very private too. We would stay again based on the lake access alone. The cottage was nice and clean but there were spiders and spider webs all over the patio, garage, dock and occasionally inside. Every morning I had to use a broom to knock them down. So if you don't like spiders, bring some spray. The sofa bed was kinda broken as well as the fold out cot. The master bedroom was great though with a very comfortable bed. Bring your own inflatables as the ones provided all leak air. The provided grill was also not working. The dock had a couple rotting boards that will hopefully be replaced as they have to be avoided so your foot doesn't go through. Having 2 bathrooms was great. Secluded location but very close to shopping and restaurants. Overall it was an excellent place to stay and we would highly recommend. We hope it's available next year when we are looking.

Favorite Lake Esperience

My husband and I arrived at the Lake Bowen cottage on a very hot summer day. We had an easy entry and welcomed the air conditioning and easy walk to the water. Everything was clean and comfortable. This is an upstairs apartment and we are in our seventies, but our own home has stairs and these were no problem for us. The lake site was great; shopping and restaurants are an easy drive. We hope to return one day -- our four-night stay was our favorite lake experience.

2nd time was even better!

We traveled to the area for college tours for our son and daughter. This year we decided to make it a whole week and were again pleased with the rental. Well stocked with linens, a wash/dryer on site, plenty of everything and still close to a market, and the highway. We hope to stay here again next summer if its available the weeks we will be in the area! Good fishing too off the dock!
